Newton Braby was a domestic and portrait artist, he was educated at the RA schools from July 1892 to July 1897. He lived at Teddington, Middlesex 1898; London 1907; and Kingston on Thames, Surrey 1910. He exhibited from 1898 to 1907. The greatest number of his works (13) were exhibited at the RA. Titles include; The Last Rose of Summer 1898; The Love Letter 1899; The Pursuit of Alchemy 1900; and The Cooking Lesson 1907. He also exhibited at the Royal Society of Artists, Birmingham (3); the London Salon (9); and the New Gallery (4).
