Description
The plaque on the frame ascribes the painting to Sir Peter Lely with the sitter being Lady Arundell of Wardour. The attribution to Sir Peter Lely is inaccurate and closer to John Vanderbank (1694-1793) or possibly Enoch Seeman (1694-1744).
