Description

The drawing ‘Books and Papers’ was proudly displayed in the Sergeant’s living room, when asked about the drawing John explained that it was not he but Charlotte Ward who drew the picture, he then went on to say how talented he thought Charlotte had been as a student. John and Carolyn had been close friends of John Ward and his family.

Exhibitions of Charlotte's work have been held at the Abbot and Holder gallery in London. She is the daughter of the acclaimed artist John Ward C.B.E, (1917-2007). Her twin sister Celia, and brother Toby, are also artists.
